OBJECTIVES
The Inter-House Book Review Presentation was organized to develop students’ interest in reading and to enhance their ability to understand, analyse and present ideas from books. The activity aimed to improve students’ communication skills, clarity of expression, analytical thinking and confidence in public speaking. It also encouraged students to share their understanding and opinions creatively while developing presentation skills. The competition provided an opportunity for students to appreciate books, expand their knowledge and express their thoughts in an organized manner. It further promoted healthy competition, active participation and inter-house spirit among the students.
COMPETITION DETAILS
The Book Review Presentation was conducted as an inter-house activity for CAIE students. The participants presented their understanding and views of selected books before the judges. The students were evaluated on the basis of understanding, clarity, analysis and presentation skills, with a maximum score of 10 marks.
The participants displayed enthusiasm and confidence while presenting their book reviews. The activity provided them with a valuable platform to develop their reading, comprehension and communication abilities.

ACHIEVEMENT
Raman House emerged as the top-performing house in the Book Review Presentation, with Hanshika of Class V securing the first position with an impressive score of 9/10. Dithya of Class IV from Tagore House secured the second position with 6/10, while Moulya of Class III from Gandhi House secured the third position with 5/10. Vihaan Kailash B. S. of Class V from Tagore House and Sougandhika of Class V from Vinobha House jointly secured the fourth position with 4/10 each.
The participants demonstrated their understanding of books and expressed their ideas with enthusiasm, reflecting their growing reading and presentation skills.
CONCLUSION
The Inter-House Book Review Presentation was successfully conducted on 09 September 2026 with enthusiastic participation from the students. The competition provided students with an engaging platform to develop their reading habits, comprehension, analytical thinking and communication skills. The participants displayed confidence and creativity while presenting their book reviews and responding to the expectations of the judging criteria.
The activity successfully encouraged students to explore the world of books and express their thoughts in a structured and meaningful manner. Raman House emerged as the top-performing house, with Hanshika securing the first position. The school appreciates the efforts of all participating students, judges, house representatives and staff members for contributing to the successful conduct of the competition.
